Understanding Your Medical Choices

Medical Plan Option 1 and Option 3 will remain the same in 2024.

Medical Plan Option 2

This option will have higher contributions in 2024, as well as an adjusted annual deductible.

For the 2024 calendar year, the IRS has updated their minimum deductible and out-of-pocket maximums allowed for a plan to qualify as a high-deductible health plan (HDHP) – the required coverage for an individual to be eligible to make or receive HSA contributions. The increase will be as follows:

The 2024 HSA limit will increase by $300 to $4,150 for individual coverage and by $550 to $8,300 for family coverage.

The FSA contribution limit will go up $200 to $3,050 in 2024.

FSA carry over amount from 2024 to 2025 will increase from $500 to $610.
