Welcome to Annual Enrollment for 2024
October 9 - October 27
GE Health Choice for Salaried Employees
GE offers a range of benefits and programs to support the health and wellbeing of you and your family. GE Health Choice (GEHC), along with programs like HealthAhead, provides employees and their families opportunities to optimize their physical, emotional, financial and social wellbeing.

Annual Enrollment is your once-a-year opportunity to:
- Enroll in or change your medical, vision or dental plan.
- Elect contributions to a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA).
- Confirm the eligible family members you elect to cover and the associated Working Person Status.
- Note: Be sure to verify the Working Person Status for all eligible participants on the medical benefit page prior to submitting your Annual Enrollment elections.
- Change your Smoker or Smokeless Tobacco User Status or let us know if you plan on participating in a cessation program in 2024.
We encourage you to take this time to review your current benefits and consider your health care needs for 2024. If you do not take action during Annual Enrollment, you will remain in your current medical plan option, but any prior FSA or HSA elections will be discontinued in 2024.
Here is a snapshot of some changes taking effect in 2024:
GE has not increased employee medical plan contributions for the past three years. In 2024, although GE will absorb the bulk of cost increases resulting from rising health care costs, employees will see an increase in GEHC medical contributions.
To learn more, visit What's New & Changing.
Note: Because employee contributions are tiered by pay level, your medical contributions, deductible and out-of-pocket maximum under GE Health Choice (GEHC) may go up if you have a pay increase that moves you into a higher contribution tier, or if you are a part-time employee. Updated state surcharges for 2024 may also apply.
If you remain a GE Aerospace, GE Vernova or GE Corporate employee, the benefit elections you make during Annual Enrollment will be in effect for all of 2024, unless you have a qualifying event that enables you to change certain elections mid-year.
What you need to do.
Between October 9 and October 27, review your benefit choices and select the option that fits your needs for 2024. The SmartSelect decision support tool is available to help you assess your medical plan options. We encourage you to access SmartSelect and spend a few minutes reviewing your 2024 medical elections prior to making your selections or allowing coverage to roll over.
