Looking Ahead: Company Transformation & Your Benefits

As part of the separation planning, we’ve given a lot of thought to how we approach our benefits and programs within the future companies. We understand how important our Total Rewards programs are to you and want to make this transition as simple as possible for you and your family.

Health & Welfare Benefits

The elections you make during this Annual Enrollment period will stay in effect for 2024 unless you have a qualifying event that enables you to change certain elections mid-year.

GE Retirement Savings Plan

The GE Retirement Savings Plan ("RSP") will be divided into two separate plans as GE Vernova becomes a standalone company. At that time, current and former employees' accounts will be mapped based on the business they work for with limited exceptions. Employees will keep their RSP vested benefit, subject to investment gains and losses. RSP participants will receive more information prior to the separation.

Compensation

Outstanding GE Equity Awards will be adjusted to reflect the spin of GE Vernova. Eligible employees will receive more information later this year.

HEALTH & WELFARE

Annual Enrollment: Employees will select 2024 health care benefits as usual.

SAVINGS & RETIREMENT

Pension: GE has completed allocating the pension benefit.

GE Retirement Savings Plan (RSP): The U.S. GE RSP will be allocated to the two businesses closer to the date of separation from GE. Employees will keep their vested RSP benefit, subject to investment gains and losses.
